The materials we use for countertops are GreenGuard certified. Many selections are from recycled and FSC certified content:
PaperStone and Richlite are composite materials made of paper and natural resins. from FSC-Certified sources and/or recycled paper. Layers of paper and resin are compressed under high pressure and baked to create solid sheets. These materials develop a warm, soft patina ideal for homes.
ECO is an engineered stone product manufactured from 75% recycled materials such as mirror, glass, porcelain, earthenware, and vitrified ash.
Rinato, IceStone, and Vetrazzo are terazzo products. They utilize recycled glass imbedded in Portland cement. Terrazzo provides durability, low maintenance and sustainability, typically lasting the life of a building.
Bamboo is a grass that grows to a harvestable height of 60 feet in about three to five years, growing as much as two feet per day. It has an extensive root system that continually sends up new shoots, naturally replenishing itself. Bamboo countertops are 25% harder than red oak.
Corian, Formica, and Avonite offer solid surface material with substantial percentages of recycled content.
